Erik Ten Hag Down Plays Overcelebrating Claims

Erik Ten Hag, manager of Manchester United, held a press conference to discuss the team’s recent EFL Cup victory and their upcoming match against West Ham United. Despite their recent success, Ten Hag was quick to dismiss any talk of complacency, reminding everyone that the season is far from over.

When asked if he looks for players whose levels may drop after winning a trophy, Ten Hag replied, “Of course, but the first place is to take responsibility for that, and they have to take responsibility for their performance.” He stressed that winning the EFL Cup is only the first step toward their ultimate goal of competing in three competitions.

The manager was also asked about Anthony Martial’s availability, who has been plagued by injuries this season. Ten Hag was cautious in his response, stating that he doesn’t want to give any perspective or expectation, but hopes that Martial will return soon.

Many fans are wondering if loan signings Amad Diallo and Eric Bailly will be a part of the team’s plans for next season. Ten Hag, on the other hand, was quick to dismiss any talk of the future and reminded everyone to keep their focus on the current season.

“I believe that it is far too soon to discuss that. First and foremost, we are in this season, and I believe our focus should be on not becoming distracted from what is coming next, this season “he said.

Ten Hag was also asked about the team’s hectic schedule and whether or not the squad can handle the workload. “Yes, yes, yes, I think so because until now we managed it quite well and I think we can do it also to the end of the season,” he said of his players.

Despite their recent success, Ten Hag was adamant that the team’s attention should be focused on their upcoming match against West Ham United. When asked about the possibility of a quadruple, the manager refused to be drawn in and reminded everyone of their lofty goals for themselves.

“We want to play better, we have to improve our game, and that is what we have to strive for on a daily basis,” he said.
