United Face Sevilla In UEL Quarter Final Draw

The Europa League quarterfinal draw has been made, with Manchester United facing Sevilla, Juventus facing Sporting, Bayer Leverkusen facing Union SG, and Feyenoord facing Roma.

Sevilla, the most successful team left in the Europa League, will present a difficult challenge for Manchester United, but the Red Devils will be relieved to have avoided Juventus and Roma, as well as the drama that often surrounds Jose Mourinho. The winner of the Sevilla-Manchester United match, on the other hand, will face either Juventus or Sporting in the semifinals.

Juventus is a difficult team to beat and would have qualified for the Champions League if they hadn’t been docked points. So far in the Europa League, they have been effective but not particularly exciting, as is typical of manager Max Allegri.

Sporting exhibited control, bravery, and genuine match-winning ability against Arsenal in the previous round. Whoever advances from the Juventus-Sporting quarterfinals will face a far more difficult test than Sevilla.

Bayer Leverkusen will be confident of their chances after defeating Union Berlin in the previous round. They are a less consistent team than Union Berlin, but they play spectacular football at times and are attempting to play with more control under manager Xabi Alonso.

Feyenoord will have their work cut out for them against Roma, who have been keeping clean sheets left, right, and center under Mourinho this season. Feyenoord is a dangerous team that recently defeated Shakhtar Donetsk 7-1 in the second leg of their tie, so Roma should be cautious.

Sevilla is a team with a lot of experience in this competition, which could work in their favor. However, they are distracted by their relegation battle and may feel under pressure to perform. Ajax manager Eric ten Hag will be under pressure to win silverware in Europe and will be plotting his path to the final.

Manchester United will aim to win the Europa League after winning the League Cup earlier this season. They are the tournament favorites because of their squad, the quality they have, and Marcus Rashford’s form. However, they will have to play exceptionally well to beat Juventus or Sporting in the semifinals.
